LineDot: Deconstructed: Deconstructed

2023 · Installation · Seoul

This work further deconstructs Line–Dot: Deconstructed by extending the performance into an accompanying exhibition. By treating space as a medium to be perceived and manipulated three-dimensionally, the project invites audiences to actively sense and engage with spatial depth and orientation.
Floating spheres were suspended in the air, each assigned as a spatial sound source linked to jazz instruments. Visitors were able to manipulate these sound sources as if conducting an orchestra—adjusting the position and distance of the spheres within the space. The position of each sphere controlled the direction of the sound, while the distance determined its volume. Through this interaction, the work transforms spatial movement into a performative act, allowing audiences to experience three-dimensional space through embodied listening and spatial composition.
