We often say that books come alive, but what if a story could literally emerge from the flat pages of a book? This project tells the story of a girl overcoming depression and her inner struggles, using augmented reality to extend the narrative into three-dimensional space. Through AR technology, the story unfolds beyond the book and enters the physical world, allowing characters and scenes to appear within the reader’s everyday environment. By encountering the story in this expanded form, readers are invited to engage more closely with the characters and to reflect on their own daily spaces. The work suggests that by altering how we perceive familiar surroundings, it may become easier to shift our perspective on everyday life itself.
